I tried to use the 'Search' feature to find a thread to answer this question, but it kept taking right to the Eddie Bauer ad. So I apologize in advance for repetition. Can you use p226 mags in p229? Experience? I am kicking around the idea of getting a Kel-Tel Sub2K and I am trying to decide which magizine model yo get? I am leaning towards the Glock style because of the after market 31 round mags readily available. But I may go with the Sig if the p226 mags are comfortably interchangable in my p229.

X grips work great. I use them on 1911 mags. and had two when I owned a 229-40. A 9mm 226 mag will fit a 229/228 machine gun preacher 229 frame tight. In a 40 or 229-1 frame they will be a bit loose, and will work perfectly.
